Shanghai is one of the most advanced centres of Chinese textile manufacturing, and IDO is among the dependable partners in the field. We strategically chose to order the same products from two independent makers — precisely so that we are never left short or dependent on a single supplier should disruptions hit Asia. Both suppliers produce to the same specification we set: a three-layer construction with a 100% polyester surface (85 g/m²), an absorbent middle layer (95% polyester, 5% cotton, 95 g/m²) and a PU barrier. They withstand washing at 90 °C, the hygiene standard in care facilities.
