Company founding
2012
The beginnings of Stamed date back to 2012. The company was founded in a modest office on Lochotínská Street in Plzeň. At the time, Stamed consisted of just two people and the premises also served as a warehouse. The first success was securing exclusive representation of the Canadian company Absorb Plus.
Team expansion
2013
A year later the company grew by three sales managers. The new sales team secured exclusive representation of the Dutch company Sanalife and began importing premium bed linen from the German brand Zollner.
E-shop launch
2014
In 2014, the first e-shop offering goods exclusively for seniors was launched at www.pomuckyproseniory.cz and continues to operate successfully today.
Slovak market and second e-shop
2015
In 2015 we successfully launched our second e-shop, www.zdravotnickydum.cz, focused on more general products for the wider public. We also expanded our sales activities to Slovakia.
Relocation and acquisition
2016
The premises on Lochotínská Street were no longer sufficient and the company moved to new premises on Toužimská Street in Plzeň. That same year Stamed acquired Weil Electronic Devices s.r.o., including production of the Dermawed cosmetics line, and secured exclusive representation of the Swedish company Care of Sweden.
Own production
2017
In 2017 the portfolio was expanded with further consumables under the Dermawed brand and the company began importing incontinence pads under its own Stamed brand. A dedicated hospital sales team was also established.
New partners and growth
2018
In 2018 Stamed secured exclusive representation of Funke medical GmbH (anti-decubitus mattresses) and Rehabed (care beds and furniture). The team grew to 18 members. Management began searching for a plot for a new modern headquarters. In summer 2018 the Letokuhy senior care home in Budišov nad Budišovkou was fully equipped on a turnkey basis.
HQ construction
2019–2020
Two years of construction of the modern headquarters in Zruč-Senec were under way. In 2020 the portfolio was expanded with own production of germicidal lamps and StAIR air sterilizers. A partnership was established with the French company Reval (bathing and shower systems, including the Ruby mobile shower system). Stamed assisted during the COVID-19 pandemic – e.g. by supplying scarce air sterilizers to the Social Assistance Centre in Litoměřice.
New modern headquarters
2021
In spring 2021 the company moved into its new modern headquarters at Vřesová 667, 330 08 Zruč-Senec. The new premises provide several times greater storage capacity, new logistics capabilities and a modern showroom with the complete product range. The team grew to 29 employees. The Pulmo Waves device for respiratory physiotherapy and lung rehabilitation was added to the portfolio.
10 years on the market
2022
Stamed celebrated its tenth anniversary on the market. New additions included Caretronic NurseCare signaling (nurse-client communication system), DeVi Stairlift UP stairlifts (exclusive representation of DeVi-Stairlifts B.V.), redesign of Dermawed cosmetics and the founding of the REstamed medical aid rental service. A PU sensor for pressure-ulcer prevention was also added. The company saved 675 kg of CO₂ and received an environmental certificate.
Innovation continues
2023
Stamed continues expanding its portfolio. New products include the PowerMOVE column lift with touch&move technology, the Rotadorm Care bed with rotating slatted base and upright-sitting function, and a complete bariatric programme for patients with high body weight. The company focuses on the eco-friendly GREENLINE product range and continuous innovation in medical technology.

This capability allows us to serve as a reliable partner for complex projects that require advanced coordination and a high level of technical expertise.
Foundation stone
2026
The growing trend of fully equipped senior care facilities is again creating the need for larger storage space. We look forward to a new building with extensive warehousing, construction of which is set to begin in 2026.
